1-2nd March: Quality Management Systemscards

IRCA Certified course in ISO9001:2008 – Internal Auditor Training

Quality management is of major importance.  Certification ensures that products and services are delivered in line with customer requirements, consistently. It can also help you win new contracts and tenders.

A key element in any good quality management system is to have staff who are trained as internal auditors. Internal auditors spot problems before these reach customers and are a mandatory element in keeping 9001 certification. They can also help you achieve certification in the first place, internally checking that your systems and processes are working well and in line with standards before a third party auditor arrives on site.

If you need more trained quality auditors, this affordable and local course will get your staff up to grade in next to no time.

This course will equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to assess and report on conformance, effectiveness of processes, and to contribute to continual improvement.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

- Describe the role of internal audits in the maintenance and improvement of management systems
- Explain the purpose and structure of ISO9001:2008
- Plan and prepare for an internal audit
- Gather evidence through observation, interview and sampling
- Write factual reports that help improve the effectiveness of the management system
- Suggest ways in which the effectiveness of corrective action might be verified

This IRCA certified course compromises sessions, workshops and roleplay exercises.  Participants are not expected to have knowledge of auditing, quality management systems or ISO9001:2008 before attending the course.

On successful completion, participants would be part way to becoming a certified internal auditor (companion course SSCE/QMSFTC would also need to be completed – contact us if you’d like to know more about dates for this training course).

This course will be delivered by BBEF’s partners, SGS United Kingdom Ltd.
